"This contest is lots of fun. I worked all states and many provinces but not
as much DX as I had hoped. There are many great operators who work RTTY, but
I do not understand why some ... operators ... send ... so ... many ... dots
.... My station worked well: WriteLog, MMTTY, Elecraft K3, Tokyo Hi-Power
amp, microKEYER II, and many monobanders." - K5DU
"I used fldigi-3.13BL on an Apple Intel iMac interfaced via SignaLink USB
to a Kenwood TS-570S. I missed Delaware, Iowa, North Dakota, and a few
Canadian provinces. It was a fun contest and the new alpha version of fldigi
by W1HKJ worked perfectly. My score was not as good as previous years due
to less time in the chair." - AA5VU
"First time in a RTTY contest for me. All I can say is that it will NOT be the
last (hopefully!). Thanks to Mike K5NZ, and Bill K5GA for taking the lead
in bringing the rest of us up the learning curve. With four hours over 100
QSOs/hour and 14 hours over 80 QSOs/hour, there was plenty of rate. Lots
of fun!" - NR5M
"I had some fun while I could run. But I had some real trouble on 20 meters.
It seems some strange RF issue is killing my weather station and USB adapters
in the shack. I'd never had trouble with 20 meters in the past, so I had to
just stop. I did work some members of the club, and that is always a good
thing. I got K5DU and AA5VU on all the bands I worked. Thanks all for the
fun!" - N8NOE
"Just a few hours from home." - K5PI
