"There was lots of QRN and thunderstorms to deal with this year in Central Texas." - K5NA (@ NN5AA)

"40 meters was a huge dissapointment. I depend on 40 meters to boost my score with double point QSOs. Strong early morning thunderstorms on both days caused many hours of station shutdown, especially during 40 meter prime time. I had to shut down Saturday morning, in the middle of the 40 meter JA run, after fighting the QRN from an approaching storm, when I was barely able to hear any but the the strongest of callers." - K5YA (@ NU5F)

"There was heavy QRN due to thunderstorms. I had to shut down at times when they got too close!" - K2UR (@ K5NA)

"Wow. On Friday night, 20 meters never closed. Even 10 meters was open Saturday and Sunday - not as much as I would have liked, but it was open to some areas and somewhat productive." - KG5U
