City of San Marcos
In the City of San Marcos, antenna regulations are part of the
City Ordinances.
§114.001
"Definitions",
defines "telecommunications tower:"
Telecommunications towers mean any structure erected for the purpose of
supporting equipment that serves as a telecommunications relay point for
cellular telephones, personal communications services (PCS), digital
communications, and similar regulated by the 1996 Federal Telecommunications
Act.
There does not appear to be references in the ordinances to non-commercial
towers or antenna support structures.
